- I'm a perpetual student (sometimes officially, ie Wellesley and Harvard; sometimes just in the school of life) and wanderer. I like morning coffee, well-stamped passports, and wit that is sharp without being cruel. My faith is scarred but hardy. I keep being drawn back to urban ministry as it is where life most makes sense to me. I've lived in South Africa for a year and, well, let's just say I have a new appreciation for the US.

I enjoyed hearing a "play-by-play" from your mom and dad -- sounds like it was really special.
I keep asking your mom if you're home -- and the answer is always "no".
I do hope I get to see you this summer. Surely there will be time for a "movie and a pizza" night.
